A few moments ago we officially applied for 501(c)(3) status with the IRS! This is happening after lots of diligent work by all board members and support from our families, and friends!
According to US Tax Code we are currently able to operate as a nonprofit with 501(c)(3) status for operational purposes and once a positive determination letter is received we will be able to retroactively provide any donors with tax receipts.
