Donate Games

We love that you would like to send us games, and they help expand our opportunities to provide even more great games to educators, librarians, and community leaders. When we receive games we are more than happy to send a tax receipt for the MSRP of the games received. If you are sending games or other items we ask that you please send us an email (Donate@TabletopAlliance.org) so that we can know to expect the package(s).

There are many ways you can raise funds to benefit Tabletop Alliance, and we are ever so gracious that you would want to do so. To set you up for success we would love to talk to you to enhance your impact by using some of the great tools and resources we have access to as a nonprofit. If you would like to create your own fundraising page, a team, or join a fundraising team benefiting Tabletop Alliance, we have partnered with Give Lively which is a wonderful online platform benefiting 501(c)(3) organizations like ourselves. To get rolling all you need to do is create a fundraising page, this link will open in a new tab in your browser that is on the GiveLively site. Simply create your account, set a goal, and share it with the world on social media!

Another way you can create a fundraiser page/team or join an existing team is by texting* “GiveGaming” to 44-321. This is the donation page for our general fundraising. Once there click which will then take you to a new screen which will give you two sets of choices:

  • Fundraising as a team(This is such an epic and fun way to raise support!)
    • Join A Team – Simply select this, search for the team name, sign up, and set your goal!
    • Create A Team – this will take you through the steps to to create a new team for your group or organization
  • Fundraising on your own
    • This will have you sign up, set a goal, write up a short description, and you’ll be good to go!

In addition, you can use your pages to facilitate some great local events or events online! Some examples of fundraisers you could run are:

  • Play games online with friends and stream it.
    • During the stream celebrate donations, tell stories of how games have impacted you, and have a blast!
  • Partner with a local gaming group to run an online game day where players choose to either donate or raise funds in order to play games!
  • Run a gaming event where participants are sponsored by their friends and family
  • Partner with a local game store to have a profit share
  • and many more.

The simplest way to donate to Tabletop Alliance is to donate via our PayPal link or to encourage others to do so. Simply right click on either the hyperlink text in the previous sentence or the donate button on the right and share the link with friends & family.

Prefer to use a QR code?

If you would prefer to use a QR code to encourage others to donate such as uploading it as your avatar image for a gaming convention please feel free to use the QR code in this section as it goes to the same PayPal donation site.

Social media is a great place to make a great impact when used for good. What better way that to let your friends and family know you care about equipping and developing educators and community leaders with the power of games!

To run your own fundraiser for Tabletop Alliance on Facebook is easy and there are several ways to do it!

First make sure that you have liked the Tabletop Alliance Facebook Page!

Facebook Fundraiser

To make a large impact you can select to run a fundraiser on Facebook. Doing so will create a fundraising page where your friends and family can subscribe to see your success, cheer you on, and so much more.

  1. On your Facebook Homepage select
  2. Click “Select Nonprofit”
  3. Search & Select “Tabletop Alliance”
  4. Set a fundraising goal (Go ahead, challenge yourself)
  5. Select the date when you want your fundraiser to end
  6. Write why you are raising money for Tabletop Alliance
  7. Click “Create” & Invite all your Facebook Friends!

During the duration of the Facebook Fundraiser make sure to share fun photos, videos, play games, and interact with the followers of your fundraiser as they want to see your joy and success. Please tag @TabletopAlliance so that we can cheer you on!

A great way to support us is by selecting Tabletop Alliance as your preferred charity in PayPal and each time you use PayPal for purchase you will be asked if you want to donate $1 to Tabletop Alliance. This is such a great way to support Tabletop Alliance because unlike other online fundraising there are zero fees incurred and 100% of your donation goes to our organization!

Unlike other online donations, all funds raised through the PayPal Giving Fund are received. Typically we incur a 2.2% + 30¢ per donation.
