With education institutions and community programs beginning to return to in-person activities for Fall 2021, Tabletop Alliance a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization is working to equip as many programs as possible with games to further their outcomes. To do so we are launching a limited time eCommerce pre-order only experience through June 30, 2021. For each game purchased by then we commit to giving away a free game to an educational or community program.
This ‘buy a game, give a game experience’ is being called “Christmas in July” as a play on the colloquial terms for a celebration mid-summer. Coinciding with this, we will begin shipping games mid-July.
This is not a traditional retail experience, rather this is a strictly nonprofit endeavor aimed at maximizing our ability to strategically further our mission while providing a way for the fantastic gaming community to celebrate along with us. We encourage individuals to acquire games they have been wanting while understanding that there will be a waiting period to receive pre-orders as this will be making a positive difference on the lives of others around the United States.
“We wanted to celebrate the ability for educators and community leaders going back into their programming after 1.5 years of not being able to do so and feel that this one-for-one campaign is a great way for the community as a whole to contribute” said Bruce Brown, President of Tabletop Alliance. “We want them to launch into experiences where they can use games to increase engagement, social emotional learning, and so much more that research shows games can provide.”
